Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services is Hiring a LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) Near Lincoln, NE

Starting pay rate: $24.570/hour - $32.789 per hour; pay based on experience. Additional $3/hour facility differential pay plus additional shift differential pay.

We are looking for skilled, professional Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team. In this role you will be an integral part of our Behavioral Health Division and provide critical care and support to adult patients with mental illness at Lincoln Regional Center, a state psychiatric hospital.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse you will:
* Provide medication administration
* Complete patient documentation
* Complete supply inventory and ordering
* Utilize electronic medical records
* Participate as a contributing member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, delivering holistic and individualized care to patients with mental illness
Starting pay rate: $24.570/hour - $32.789 per hour; pay based on experience. Additional $3/hour facility differential pay plus additional shift differential pay.
Work Schedule: Full-time positions available on 1st shift (7am - 3pm) 2nd shift (3pm - 11pm), or 3rd shift (11pm - 7am), all full-time schedules every other weekend off. Temporary on-call positions available, must work a minimum of 32 hours per month. Flexible orientation for on-call.
REQUIRED:
* A current license to practice as a licensed practical nurse in Nebraska or authority based on the Nurse Licensure Compact to practice as a licensed practical nurse in Nebraska is required.
PREFERRED:
* Knowledge or experience working with patients with mental illness or psychiatric disorders
* Valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation
Ability to be flexible and adapt to rapidly changing situations. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and therapeutic working relationships. Ability to work and function as part of an interdisciplinary treatment team.
